Marilyn sits on the couch, her face blank. Michelle says 'I'm home! Look at what I got!' from off-screen then appears with a box of chocolates and a bunch of flowers. She smiles as she presents them to Marilyn. Marilyn does not react. She seems upset. Michelle smiles and says 'Don't be like Marilyn. Here, hold these.'and puts the gifts in Marilyn's hands. 'What am I supposed to do with these?' Marilyn asks. Michelle looks sheepish and says 'Well uh... You're supposed to put the flowers in water and eat the chocolate.' Marilyn drops both of the gifts. Michelle asks 'Is something wrong?' and Marilyn turns her nose up and says 'Garbage.' Marilyn steps on the gifts, crushing both of them. Her eyes are fierce as she tells Michelle 'I expect better from you!' Michelle looks at the ruined gifts and mutters 'Great. Thanks a lot, Carl. Winning idea.' Marilyn seems to be growing more enraged as she asks 'Who is Carl? Carl?' Michelle answerws 'He's my friend. He suggested the gift.' Marilyn grows large, towering over Marilyn, and shouts at her 'Why do you need a friend... to tell you how to take care of me! Are you stupid?!' Michelle slaps Marilyn's hand away and shouts at her. 'Fuck off! I ain't stupid! Who do you think you are!?' The following panel is red with three claw marks. A bloody gash stretches across Michelle's cheek. Marilyn stands with her claws bared. 'You better have learned your lesson...' she says.
