At the grocery store, Michelle sits at checkout, bored without any customers. Someone sees her bandaged hand and asks 'Trying out a new look?'. It's Michelle's friend Carl. She greets him, 'Carl!' as he smiles at her. Michelle says 'Long time no see,' but Carl wants to know 'What happened to your arm?' Michelle is sheepish and answers 'Oh, this was from cooking.' Carl asks 'The great Mich cooking?' and Michelle says 'Yeah, well, I wanted to impress her.' Carl is shocked. He asks 'Her?' as Michelle turns away and blushes. He then playfully elbows her side and says 'Woah! Casanova here!' while Michelle grins. Carl says 'So, tell me more.' Michelle says 'She looks like Madame F.' Carl asks 'Like from your favourite anime?' and Michelle says 'Yup.' Carl exclaims 'Cool!'. Michelle frowns and continues. 'She's a very peculiar woman. I need to make sure I'm laying the charm. I need a good gift idea.' Carl suggests 'How about flowers and chocolate? Can't beat the classics'. Michelle and Carl high-five and Michelle says 'Of course! Thanks bud!'. Then, someone off screen shouts 'Michelle, stop slacking off!' Michelle gives the middle finger to her unseen boss. She frowns and tells Carl 'Ugh, back to work. Another whiney baby to deal with.' Carl says 'Oh, I know how you hate those kind of people. I'll see you! Hope to meet her soon!' and waves goodbye to Michelle. She waves back at him and says 'Yeah... Meet her...' but she seems uneasy.
