Natsu's Date

Natsu's Date by kelszzles. The story starts with Natsu pacing around her room while her friends watch. She rabmles: 'Right. So, first I'm going to meet her at the usual spot. Then we're going to walk through the park together. Then I'm going to take her to Maritime Place and we'll go to Fontaine... Actually, maybe we should go to the bakery up the other end of the street. I've never been to it before, so I don't know what it's like, but maybe Flora would rather go somewhere new.' She then turns to her friends and asks 'What do you two think?' Cass and Fiadh are both indifferent. Cass says 'I haven't been to the other one either.' and Fiadh says 'I don't think it matters which bakery you go to.' Natsu gets annoyed and says 'That's not helpful.' Cass gets nervous and tries to calm Natsu down. 'Natsu, I really don't think you have anything to worry about.' Natsu is embarrassed, and shouts 'I'm not worried!' to which Fiadh says 'Sure you aren't. You're lucky you haven't worn a hole in the floor.' Natsu insists 'I'm not worried! I'm just... trying to take this seriously. I want Flora to have a good time.' Cass looks sympathetic, and Fiadh looks unamused. They both try to reassure Natsu. Fiadh says 'She's going to have a good time wherever you go.' Cass says 'She enjoys being with you.' Natsu gets embarrassed and asks 'You really think so?' Natsu then notices the time. It's 12:53. She runs out the door, saying to her friends 'I- I should get going! Thank you!.' Cass says 'Enjoy.' and Fiadh says 'See ya.' Natsu runs down Maritime Place, and eventually gets to a secluded area in the park where she sees a bright light. Flora has arrived. Flora opens her eyes slowly, having travelled between worlds, then looks around. She says 'Oh! Natsu! Are Cass and Fiadh still on their way?' Natsu hesitates and says 'Actually, I, uh-' but then she gets the courage to ask Flora 'I was wondering if you wanted to spend some time together today. Just the two of us.' Flora blushes, bringing her hands to her face, then she grabs Natsu's arm. Flora says 'I'd love that' and they both walk away smiling. End.
